AUDITION: bbodance/Tavaziva Youth Company Classes

Over the past 2 years we have been working hard to provide FREE company level, professional training for dancers in Tavaziva’s unique style of ballet, contemporary and African dance.

Running from October 2024 to July 2025, we will be holding monthly classes at bbodance HQ which will involve technique training, repertoire, partner and group work, and choreographic development. The classes are designed to provide high-quality supplementary training to develop the dancers’ movement vocabulary, versatility and creativity.

The sessions will be led by Bawren Tavaziva (Artistic Director of Tavaziva Dance) and Dak Mashava (Tavaziva Company Dancer). Tavaziva Dance are celebrating their 20th Anniversary this year, so it’s an exciting time to get involved with their work.

Audition Information:

When: Saturday 5th October 2024, 2pm-5pm

Where: bbodance HQ, London

Who can audition: Dancers aged 14 - 18

What: The audition will involve taking a company-style class with Bawren Tavaziva and learning his unique choreography. Previous experience in this style is not a requirement.

Successful auditionees will be invited to commit to the monthly classes and have the chance to experience what it’s like to train as a company dancer…completely FREE OF CHARGE.
