Membership

  • Becoming a bbodance member means joining a global family committed to excellence in dance education.
     

  • We have always welcomed teachers from other organisations to join bbodance.
     

  • No application fee, no penalty for joining from elsewhere, and personal support to help you transition effectively.

Syllabus & Exams

  • bbodance exams are possible for all students.
     

  • Whether they train regularly, attend classes once a week, compete at festivals, or have returned to dance as an adult, there are opportunities to formally recognise everyone’s achievements.
     

  • We offer 6 genres of syllabi recognised by Ofqual and Qualification Wales: Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre, Jazz and AcroDancer.
     

  • Our syllabi are rich in heritage and artistic quality, whilst remaining relevant and enjoyable for today’s dancers.

Dance Teaching Qualifications

  • Our courses are designed for anyone, at any level, to access a qualification.
     

  • We educate teachers on how to teach dance within their individual context, regardless of the syllabi, genre or class level they teach.
     

  • Our teaching qualifications are recognised by Ofqual and Qualification Wales. This means you can be confident in the quality, fairness, and trustworthiness of our qualifications.

CPD

  • Our CPD courses are available throughout the year, both in-person and online.
     

  • All dance teachers are welcome, you don't have to be a member.
