About the event
Join us for an exclusive opportunity to take part in masterclasses led by Bawren Tavaziva, artistic director of Tavaziva Dance, presented in partnership with BBO.
Bawren Tavaziva’s distinctive and expressive choreography combines the aesthetic line of contemporary dance and ballet with the rhythmic patterns of African dance.
Masterclass 1 (10am to 1pm) is designed for 14 – 17 age group.
Masterclass 2 (2pm to 5pm) is designed for 18+ age group.
The classes will take place in Birmingham Royal Ballet, Studio 5.
Participants can expect technique, rep, solo and pair work in a lively and supportive environment. These masterclasses offer a great introduction to Bawren Tavaziva’s choreography. Previous engagement with Tavaziva’s work is not required.
