Founded in 1930 in the UK, bbodance soon expanded its horizons and opened a branch in Sydney in 1936, offering the opportunity for dance teachers across Australia and New Zealand the chance to join the global family of dedicated members.

bbodance has 6 syllabi genres rich in heritage and artistic quality, whilst remaining relevant and enjoyable for today’s dancers. Multi-genre training is becoming increasingly important, ensuring the development of creativity, adaptability and a sustainable career in dance. The syllabi can be taught for enjoyment and structured training, or with the goal of entering students for exams.

But the bbodance offering doesn't stop at syllabi and exams. Members can benefit from CPD, inspiring events, exclusive partner offers, professional development, and genuine support from a team who strive to create accessible dance opportunities for all.
