Allegro: Travel and Space

Join bbodance Patron Joe Powell-Main for an exclusive CPD workshop focusing on developing ways to access the Allegro portion of Ballet class for dancers of differing accessible needs.

Utilising the brilliant facilities at Elmhurst Ballet School, be prepared to explore different ways of travel and elevation that will aim to give anyone interested in facilitating inclusion in Classical Ballet, ideas to help dancers with different needs access a section of Ballet class that can sometimes be seen as a challenging one to approach. This CPD aims to challenge that. 

As part of this workshop you will learn a section of jumps, performed by the character of Giselle, that is part of JPM Productions brand new production of Giselle premiering in April 2026 for a live performance in Hereford and a digital premiere later in 2026. 

This course is worth 3 hours CPD and will be held in Studio 1.
