Day 1: Building a Strong Acro Foundation

Safety First: Master the fundamental principles of acro dance safety, including proper spotting techniques, progressions, and injury prevention strategies.

Building Blocks of Acro: We'll delve into the core elements of acro dance, encompassing flexibility, strength training, balance, and proper body alignment.

Engaging Acro Activities: Learn innovative lesson plans and activities to introduce your students to acro dance in a fun and progressive manner.

Day 2: bbodance AcroDancer Syllabi and Exam Success

Acro with Structure: Discover how to seamlessly integrate the bbodance AcroDancer syllabi into your teaching, ensuring a structured and progressive learning journey for your students of all levels.

This day will mainly focus on bbodance Primary - Grade 3 syllabi.

Exam Preparation Made Fun: Master the art of exam preparation for acro dance. Learn effective techniques to equip your students with the confidence and knowledge to excel in their bbodance AcroDancer assessments.

Building Acro Artists: We'll provide valuable tips and strategies to nurture creativity and self-expression in your acro dancers, empowering them to become confident and skilled performers.

This intensive weekend course is ideal for:

*The practical element to this course is learning to support students. We encourage you to bring a student to the course to enhance your training, but this is not compulsory. We would suggest that the minimum age is 7 years old and that they can perform a strong bridge and cartwheel on at least one side. A permission form will be sent to you for the parents/guardians to complete prior to the event.

This CPD session will count for 6 hours for 1 day or 12 hours for both days.
