All talks will be recorded and sent to attendees after the event if they can’t watch live.

TIMETABLE:

10am – 11:15am: Dance, Connect, Thrive with Rebecca Mullan

As dancers return to the studio, the first few weeks provide a valuable opportunity to build connections, establish a positive class culture and set the tone for the year ahead.

Join Rebecca Mullan for Dance, Connect, Thrive: Ice Breakers and Community Building for Dance Teachers, an engaging and practical webinar as part of the bbodance Encompass Dance Conference.

Rebecca will share a range of creative ice breakers, get-to-know-you activities and community-building ideas that can be used across different age groups and dance styles. Whether you're welcoming new students or helping existing classes reconnect after the summer break, you'll leave with plenty of ideas to take straight into your teaching.

You'll leave with:

• Ice breakers and introductory activities for all ages

• Ways to build confidence, connection and belonging in your classes

• Practical strategies for creating a positive studio culture

• Ready-to-use resources and activity ideas for the start of term

11:45am – 1:00pm: From Scarcity to Success with Louise Brough

A transformative webinar for dance teachers to shift from scarcity to abundance and build stronger, more sustainable schools.

Louise Brough is the founder of The Dance Business Coach and a leading voice in the dance industry for business owners who want more than survival. Having built her own successful dance business, Louise now supports studio owners across the UK and internationally to grow profitable, sustainable businesses that allow them to live life on their terms.

Known for her straight-talking, grounded approach, Louise helps dance teachers shift from burnout and overwhelm into clarity, confidence and strong leadership. Her work goes beyond growing businesses on paper, focusing on building businesses that actually feel good to run and leave space for life outside the studio.

In this webinar, Louise will help you focus on redefining success beyond student numbers and strengthening your business without losing its’ heart.

2:00pm – 3:15pm: Disability Inclusion with Access Sport

The Disability Inclusion Workshop is designed to increase participants' confidence, competence, and knowledge in delivering fun, inclusive physical activities for people of all abilities and needs. The workshop explores the importance of disability inclusion through a physical activity lens, examining the barriers and challenges that individuals may face when accessing or participating in sport and physical activity. It also provides an introduction to a range of disability and impairment groups, as well as long-term health conditions, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities and difficulties, visual impairments, hearing impairments, and other non-visible disabilities.
