Charging VAT and how to approach it
Approaches to setting fees as a freelancer and a school
Learning outcomes:Â
An understanding of the business structures available
An exploration of the advantages, disadvantages and differences between sole trader and a limited company
An introduction to VAT, its applicability, and exemptions available
An introduction to fee setting and potential methodologies available to businesses and freelancers
The learning outcomes and practical examples are intended to provide a general overview and a pointer in the right direction, and as all businesses differ, attendees are strongly encouraged to seek the services of an appropriate professional person before making any decisions.
