AcroMania: An introduction to AcroDancer Webinar

bbodance presents an exciting introduction to teaching AcroDancer in this half term webinar.

bbodance teacher and examiner, Nicola Hillen, will guide you through the fundamentals of teaching AcroDancer, drawing on parts of the bbodance graded syllabi. This webinar is designed to demonstrate the skills to safely and effectively teach acro dance and will count for 2 hours of CPD.

With the assistance of student demonstrators with a range of abilities, we will look at spotting techniques, progressions, body alignment and injury prevention strategies. If you have a student currently studying AcroDancer who you would like to bring along to your studio to join in online with the demonstrations, this would be welcome. Nicola will be able to provide guidance and tips on your technique to enhance the training experience. (We would suggest that the minimum age is 7 years old and that they can perform a strong bridge and cartwheel on at least one side. Recording permission forms will be sent out closer to the date for anyone with a student).
